"Soon the child's clear eye is clouded over by ideas and opinions, preconceptions and abstractions. Simple free being becomes encrusted with the burdensome armor of the ego. Not until years later does an instinct come that a vital sense of mystery has been withdrawn. The sun glints through the pines and the heart is pierced in a moment of reality and strange pain, like a memory of paradise. After that day.... we become seekers.
-Peter Matthiessen

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you... Let him who seek continue seeking until he finds.”
-Jesus, Gospel of Thomas

“According to your faith, be it unto you... All things are possible to them that believe.” –Jesus

“We must not be afraid of what anyone might say: Be source, not result.”

“Dao is eternal without doing, and yet nothing remains undone... Being without desire makes still, and the world rights itself.” –Tao-te Ching, tran. Richard Wilhelm

“When a man comes to know that highest brahman, he himself becomes that very brahman.”

“He who will drink from my mouth will become like me. I myself shall become he, and the things that are hidden will be revealed to him.”
-Jesus, Gospel of Thomas

“When one moves closer to the source, there is a moment that is hard to describe in any language. The receiver becomes the giver and the receptacle becomes the source... and then the dance of eternity really begins.”
-Emmanuel’s Book

“There are beautiful and wild forces within us.”
–St. Francis of Assisi

“I am that I am.” –Keys of Enoch

“If you put your soul against this oar with me, the power that made the universe will enter your sinew from a source not outside of your limbs, but from a holy realm that lives in us.” –Rumi

“When Jesus said, ‘I am the door,” he meant that the I am in every soul is the door through which the life, power, and substance of the great I am, which is God, comes forth into expression through the individual. This I am has but one mode of expression and that is through idea, thought, word, and act. This I am God Being, which is power, substance, intelligence, is given form by consciousness; and for this reason [Jesus] said, ‘According to your faith, be it unto you,’ and, ‘All things are possible to those who believe.’”

“It was while sojourning in northern Arabia that Jesus had access to the library that had been collected from India, Persia, and the Trans-Himalayan region. Here Jesus first contacted the secret teachings of the Brotherhood. These teachings only served to drive home more firmly the conviction already forming, that the true mystery of life was God expressed through the Christ in the individual… He saw that if man ever arose to that lofty power of that mighty Indwelling Presence; if a mighty Son of God, one in whom the divine Wisdom abode in fullest measure; one rich in the outpouring richness of all of God’s treasures, the fountain of the outpouring waters of life, the Lord, or law of compassion and wisdom; was actually to take flesh upon earth, he must come forth and proclaim these possessions.”

“But when the bridegroom leaves the bridal chamber, then let them pray and fast.”
-Jesus, Gospel of Thomas

“The Spirit is a Unity, over which no one rules. It is the God of Truth, the Father of All, the Holy Spirit, the invisible one, the one who is over All, the one who exists in his imperishability, the one who exists in pure light into which no sight can look. One must not consider the Spirit as God or as a specific quantity, for it is more excellent than the gods. It is a Beginning that none precedes, for no one existed before it and it has no need for them. It does not need life, for it is eternal; it needs nothing, for it is not perfectible, since it has no deficiency which might be perfected, but is beyond all perfection. It is light. It is illimitable because no one is before it to give it limits; undifferentiated, because no one is before it to differentiate it; immeasurable, because no one has measured it as though existing before; invisible, because no one has seen it. It is the eternal which always exists, the indescribable because no one has apprehended it so as to describe it, the one whose name no one can tell because no one existed before it to name it. It is the immeasurable Light, the holy and pure purity, the indescribable, perfect and imperishable… It seeks only itself in the perfection of Light, and comprehends the pure Light. The immeasurable greatness, the eternal, the giver of eternity, the Light, the giver of Light, the life, the giver of life, the blessed one, the giver of blessedness, the knowledge, the giver of knowledge, the eternal good, the giver of good, the benefactor; that which is not of such a kind because it is such, but it gives qualities; the merciful mercy, the grace-giving grace, the immeasurable Light. What shall I say to you of It, the incomprehensible –the vision of the light –corresponding to what I shall be able to comprehend? … He told this to us, he who alone understands himself in his own light which surrounds him, he who is the fount of the water of life, the light full of purity.”
-The Secret Book of John, Gnostic Text, The Other Bible

“I was sent forth from the power, and I have come to those who reflect upon me, and I have been found among those who seek after me. Look upon me, you who reflect upon me, and you hearers, hear me. You who are waiting for me, take me to yourselves. And do not banish me from your sight… For I am the first and the last. I am the honored one and the scorned one. I am the whore and the holy one. I am the wife and the virgin. I am the mother and the daughter. I am the members of my mother. I am the barren one and many are her sons… For I am knowledge and ignorance. I am shame and boldness. I am shameless; I am ashamed. I am strength and I am fear. I am war and peace. Give heed to me. I am the one who is disgraced and the great one… I am… within. I am… of the natures. I am of the creation of the spirits. I am control and the uncontrollable. I am the union and dissolution. I am the abiding and the resolving… I am the hearing that is attainable to everything; I am the speech that cannot be grasped… For many are the pleasant forms which exist in numerous sins, and incontinences, and disgraceful passions, and fleeting pleasures, which men embrace until they become sober and go up to their resting place. And they will find me there, and they will live, and they will not die again.” -The Thunder, Perfect Mind. Gnostic, The Other Bible

“God is in everything I see. God is in everything I see because God is in my mind. I have invented the world I see. My mind is part of God’s. I am very holy. My holiness envelops everything I see. There is nothing my holiness cannot do. My holiness is my salvation. I am the light of the world. Let me be still and listen to the truth. I am one Self, united with my Creator. Salvation comes from my one Self. I will step back and let Him lead the way. I walk with God in perfect holiness. I am in need of nothing but the truth. My Self is the ruler of the universe. Let every voice but God’s be still in me. All that I give is given to myself. No one can fail who seeks to reach the truth. Today I learn to give as I receive. And this you give today: See no one as a body. Greet him as the Son of God he is, acknowledging that he is one with you in holiness. Thus do you learn to give as you receive. And thus Christ’s vision looks on you as well. This lesson is not difficult to learn, if you remember in your brother you but see yourself. If he be lost in sin, so must you be; if you see light in him, your sins have been forgiven by yourself…. I give the miracles I have received. Take from His storehouse, that its treasures may increase.”
-Course of Miracles, V2, Workbook for students.

“The return of the magical can only happen with the return of innocence…. The wizard watches the world come and go, but his soul dwells in the realms of light…. The scenery changes, the seer remains the same…. Who am I? is the only question worth asking and the only one never answered. It is your destiny to play an infinity of roles, but these roles are not yourself. A wizard does not believe himself to be a local event dreaming of a larger world. A wizard is a world dreaming of local events…. When the doors of perception are cleansed, you will begin to see the unseen world –the wizard’s world…. The seat of power is the inner self. You are the world. When you transform yourself, the world you live in will also be transformed…. The uncertainty you feel inside is the doorway to wisdom…. The reality you experience is a mirror image of your expectations. Wizards do not grieve over loss, because the only thing that can be lost is the unreal. Lose everything and the real will still remain. To the extent you know love, you become love. Love is more than an emotion. It is a force of nature and therefore must contain truth. When you say the word love, you may catch the feeling, but the essence cannot be spoken. …there are infinite realms of consciousness…. Seekers are never lost, because spirit is always beckoning to them. Seekers are offered clues all the time from the world of spirit. Ordinary people call these coincidences. To a wizard there are no coincidences. Every event exists to expose another layer of the soul. Spirit wants to meet you. To accept its invitation, you must be undefended. When you seek, begin in your heart. The cave of the heart is the home of truth. Every aspect of yourself is immortal.”
-Deepak Chopra, The Way of the Wizard

“It’s an emotional journey, physical will take care of itself. Make the best of wherever you are. I am reaching for the best feeling-thought. Don’t pay attention to what others say about it, as long as it lifts you. It’s an emotional journey. Reach for the best feeling-thought you have access to. You are extensions of source energy. When circuits are all open, you feel wonderful. You’re clear minded; you feel love. But the more the circuits are pinched off, the more that contradictory thoughts are introduced, then the less good you feel. Emotions are the allowance of source, or disallowance. It’s about the open valve or the closed valve. It’s about letting it in and emotions let you know how you are doing. When you ask it is always given. You are leading-edge co-creators. Whatever your attention is on, you become one with. Your vibration becomes the same as your thoughts. Wherever you are is where you are, so make the best of things. Be willing to make it incremental.”
-Abraham Hicks

“The message from the world of spirit can be stated with simplicity: Perfect love is all there is and perfect love must be experienced in the NOW. All else is fears complexity.”
-Emmanuel’s Book II

"Jesus said, 'Whoever has come to understand the world has found (only) a corpse, and whoever has found a corpse is superior to the world.' " -Gospel of Thomas

"It is impossible for a person to mount two horses and to stretch two bows. And it is impossible for a servant to serve two masters. Else he will honor the one and insult the other."
-Gospel of Thomas

"The Kingdom of the Father is like a certain man who wanted to kill a powerful man. In his own house he drew his sword and struck into the wall in order to find out whether his hand could carry through. Then he slew the powerful man." -Jesus, Gospel of Thomas

"This is not the mortal self, the self you see, that is able to do these things. It is a truer deeper self. It is what you know as God, God within me, God the Omnipotent One working through me, that does these things. Of myself, the mortal self, I can do nothing. It is only when I get rid of the outer entirely and let the actual, the I AM, speak and work and let the great Love of God come forth that I can do these things that you have seen. When you let the love of God pour through you to all things, nothing fears you and no harm can befall you." -Spalding, Life and Teaching of the Master of the Far East V.1

"D: Are there any barriers that keep us from going to a certain level? P: Our thoughts, our fears our beliefs and our intent. D: Would we be able to go to the level he is from? P: At this time we can do that with our consciousness, which always resides in this level, unbeknown to us, who are 99% asleep. There is an enormous part of us that always dwells in the realm of light and foreverness. It is our responsibility to bring this to the 'awake' state of our consciousness. D: I'm thinking that we are so concentrated on our physical bodies, that when we die, so to speak, and we leave the physical body, we would only go out so far and then return back to the physical body. P: that is absolutely a possibility. it depends on your focus. Your conscious thoughts are the power source that you and every other human possess. The thoughts that you consciously generate will be a major determining factor on where you go, and if and how soon you do return consciously in the physical form on this planet. D: You said we were 99% asleep? Do you mean all humans P: Of course there are humans who have been able to have the realization through their thought, their loving intent, their actual belief and faith in the everlasting love-light. There have been human beings on this planet who have definitely been able to transcend gross physical matter, and not 'die', as you are familiar with. They have been called 'ascended masters', which is a term of some humor, for it just meant they were able to transcend many of the sticky layers.... It would be allowing each molecule of the human body to, say, turn up the power Each molecule would become fully light. And by turning on the light, the vibration is sped up to such a degree that the body, as well as the infinite consciousness, transcends this plane. D: then the body disappears. P: That is correct.... So they actually have the capability to teletransport, like swirling glitter. Disassemble and reassemble according to their conscious intent. D: So it's like the entire body decomposes. I don't now if that would be the right word. Disappears. P: Yes, disappears is adequate. It would have to be a very controlled condition, and only in the sense that these vibrations could be raised to a level which would be beyond your physical sense of sight It has been done, however, not by people you would generally accept as normal. Some humans have realized that they, in fact, are part of the God force. Once they in their consciousness, become the light that they are they have the capability to disassemble their molecules.... D: What about the reported transfiguration of Jesus. Was that His actual physical body? P: The physical body was raised far beyond a level which would decay. To accelerate the natural decay process it was as if the molecules were simply separated through an advanced process of energy stimulation, such that the molecules themselves broke down. Which is the natural process of decay in speeded form. When Jesus appeared to people after His 'death' it was possible for Him to adjust His frequency of His spirit of soul to those who would witness him. He could adjust it so that only one person out of a crowd could see Him if necessary. And this is being done in many times in many different places. It was not unique to the Jesus experience.... The example we are describing is someone not of the 99% asleep. This would be a person who has the belief, the desire and the intent to do that. To transcend, taking their bodies with them. Other people also desire this transcendence, but do not believe that they can do this. Therefore they cannot, and their body must physically die. Your belief system is a shaft of steel. Without truly believing this is possible, it's not possible.... You must realize that those people who have consciously been able to -- let me use the term 'disassemble' -- consciously the physical body, are not in the 99% asleep state. If, in fact, you awaken to the knowledge and belief that you can transcend these levels, or layers of being, and have been able to achieve this accomplishment, then you have also awakened to the fact that you need not drudge on in the heavy and dense material plane.... But in fact it is the greatest physical learning we can possess. If, if it is accomplished by the belief of the heart. So it must go beyond mind. The mind is a tool of spirit.... D:So what should we do everyday? P: Consciously focus your thoughts on light. Not just without, but light that radiates from every cell of your living body. From the planet herself from each plant and animal, and from the air and water themselves. Think that every single thing you come in contact with or even think of, is in essence made of light. And the core of light the very bottom line, is love. And love is a force much misunderstood by humans who put it into a very tiny narrow little box.... The awakening is the purpose. The awakening of the fact that in essence we are light, we are love. Each cell of our bodies, each cell and molecule of everything. The power source that runs all life is light. So to awaken to that knowledge, and to desire to operate in that realm, and to believe that it is possible are all factors that will put you there.... If there were any learning that we could bring forth from this session to other people it would be the power of our beliefs.... Our job as beings who are trying to become enlightened, is to send out belief highways toward the light. beliefs are --it's so hard to articulate this -- very strong thoughts.... Once becoming intellectually aware of the possibility exists, the curious human wants to try. So they send out desire, intent, and the clincher: asking. "
-Dolores Cannon, The Convoluted Universe.

"It delights me to remind you of several things: you are eternal; your soul-Self has created this physical body; if you do not choose to remain enslaved by the illusion of time, you need never grow old at all. If you were to become convinced, without a shred of doubt, of what I have just told you, you would enter the realm of optional functioning of physicality. Yet you would not choose to remain physical forever. It is not necessary and eventually would become uninteresting. Nevertheless, you hold that power."
-Emmanuel's Book II

"All expectation must be put aside until the recognition that God is everything is accepted by the inner being. Then the voice of God is heard everywhere. When you learn to love, to trust, to believe in yourself, you know God as the center of who you are. ...you will find that you and God are one. You will know God's will then for it will be your own."
-Emmanuel's Book II

"The secret lies in getting the at-one-ment; getting the consciousness of it and then holding firmly and never deviating, though all earth shall oppose.'Of myself I can do nothing,' said Jesus, 'the Father that dwells in me, He does the work.' Have faith in God. Have faith and doubt not. Have faith and fear not. Now remember there is no limit to God's power. 'All things are possible.'... Fill the seemingly blank spaces about you with the thought of God, Infinite Good. Then remember the word God is a seed. It must grow."
-Spalding, Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East, V.II pg. 25

"If the vibrational rate of the planet changes, by people becoming kinder, or people recognizing the God in everyone, the vibrational rate of the planet will change. And by bringing up that level, the planet Earth will be healed to some extent.... Don't create the separation. We are all one together. The planet, us, the bird, the dog, there's no separation between anything. Just the difference in manifestation of form. And if people realize that, then we would have Heaven on the planet." -Dolores Cannon, The Convoluted Universe

"When you give, you begin to live. You get the world." -Dave Matthew's Band

"Thought is a tool to get you to the gate. Then you must leave your tools behind."
-Emmanuel's Book

"Love is all that exists. Love is the universal communication. It is the energy that has created the universe and is keeping it going. God is love."
-Emmanuel's Book

"The natural state of the heart is open.... How do I touch God within? How do I hear the spirits that are with me? How do I learn to love? How do I grow to become who I am? By ceasing to be who you are not. There is not a heart that exists in your human world that, if it were assured of safety, would not open instantly. It is all an issue of fear."
-Emmanuel's Book

"God is your divine ideal, the focal point upon which every thought and act is centered. It is in this way you bring forth the divine spiritual man, the Christ of God, the word made flesh... No one ever accomplished anything unless, with all his will in complete focus, he held his objective (God) directly before the pure mirror of his thought force." -Spalding, Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East, V.3

"It is when one can stand steadfastly and unwaveringly with his eyes fixed directly on God, knowing and seeing no other, that he can accomplish what you now see. Our thought is, 'I stand steadfastly with my eyes fixed on You, O Father; knowing naught but you, Father; and I see naught but God in all things. I stand firmly on the Holy Mount, knowing naught but Your Love, Life, and Wisdom. Your Divine Spirit pervades me always. It surrounds me and abounds within and without me always. I know, Father, that this is not for me alone, but it if for all Thy children." -Spalding, V.2

"See the Self in all." -Kena Upanishad, Easwaran

"As the innermost Self of all, he dwells within the cavern of the heart.... The Lord of Love is the one Self of all... Realize the Self hidden in the heart, and cut asunder the knot of ignorance here and now. Bright but hidden, the Self dwells in the heart... he is the source of love and may be known through love but not through thought. he is the goal of life. Attain this goal!... Realize him as the One behind the many and stop all vain talk... The Self reveals Himself to the one who longs for the Self." -Mundaka Upanishad, Easwaran

"Human bodies don't need nearly as much rest as you think they do. What they need is release. What they need is permission to express. What they need is their free-flowing passion." -Emmanuel's Book

"Let us, then, relinquish memory and allow experiance to flow. There is nothing to cling to. There is no necessity to remember anything, but only to be and that requires absolute faith, for in being-ness nothing is in control. There is only Is-ness, which is the absolute safety of God." -Emmanuel's Book, Epilogue

" 'Not my will, but Thine, O God, be done.' None can rise above mortal thoughts without doing the will of God whether he does it consciously or unconsciously." - Spalding, Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East.

"...home is here. It is the Divine Omnipresence in which we live, move, and have our being. We breathe it with every breath. We live it with every heart beat." -Spalding, Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East
