Surrender

“One cannot surrender completely to anything but God… By the act of surrender you realize the absolute control you have over your life. Surrender is a choice –an absolute personal choice… Surrender can be proclaimed as the most selfish act because it leads to total fulfillment… The final lesson for each soul is the total surrender to the will of God manifested in your own heart.”
-Emmanuel’s Book

“Empty thyself and I shall fill thee.”-Jesus

“Look! Even now the King is raining treasure from the palace. But this gold is caught only by those who make an empty space before it.” -Rumi

“The state of grace needs the recipient in order to be complete. You are held in the hand of God and are totally loved, and when that love can be received the circuit is completed.”
–Emmanuel’s Book, Pat Rodegast

“This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it.” –Bhagavad-Gita

“ ‘Thou shalt love the lord, thy God, with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy strength, and with all thy mind.’ Think! Does the meaning come? Heart, soul, strength, mind. Is there anything to do at this point but to turn it all over to God, the Holy Spirit, the whole-I-spirit in action?”
-Spalding, LTMFE

“Let go of everything and turn completely to God Spirit, and God Spirit will enter and fill the room and your entire body as well. A great peace will enter your entire body and it will never depart again.”
-Spalding, L.T.M.F.E.

“O scion of Bharata, surrender unto Him utterly. By His grace you will attain transcendental peace and the supreme and eternal abode.”
-Bhagavad-Gita

“Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My very dear friend…. Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.”
-Bhagavad-Gita

“It is in thee, and if thou canst for awhile cease from thinking and willing thou shalt hear unspeakable words of God. When thou standest still from the thinking and willing of self, the eternal hearing, seeing and speaking will be revealed to thee, and so God heareth and seeth through thee.”
-Jacob Behmen

“On this road, therefore, to abandon one’s own way is to enter on the true way, or, to speak more correctly, to pass onwards to the goal; and to forsake one’s own way is to enter on that which has none, namely, God. For the soul that attains to this state has no ways or methods of its own, neither does it nor can it lean upon anything of the kind. I mean ways of understanding, perceiving, or feeling, though it has all ways at the same time, as one who possessing nothing, yet possesseth everything. For the soul courageously resolved on passing, interiorly and exteriorly, beyond the limits of its own nature, enters illimitably within the supernatural, which has no measure, but contains all measure immanent ” –John Yepes a.k.a. St. John of the Cross

“When man becomes one with God, he realizes that he truly is God. This is not blasphemy, but the fruit of total surrender…. the higher we have gone in our contact with the Deity, the more childlike, the more simple, the more beautiful has been his representation…. the child mind is the greatest mind because its innocence is its best and sure defense…. In short it is free to create…. Let men learn to empty themselves completely of their attachment to the earth, so shall they begin to enter into the childlike mind and spirit of creative innocence.”
-Saint Germain on Alchemy, Elizabeth Prophet
