To study your True Self is to study God; all answers are within

“One who knows everything but lacks in oneself lacks in everything.”-Jesus, Gospel of Thomas

“The heavens and the earth will be rolled up in your presence. And the one who lives from the Living One will not see death…Whoever finds himself is superior to the world.”
–Jesus, Gospel of Thomas

“Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father.”
-Jesus, Gospel of Thomas

“If you would ask me what to study I would say, yourselves, and when you well had studied them, and then asked me what to study next, I would reply yourselves.”
-Elihu, Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ

“…it is one’s self (atman) which one should see and hear, and on which one should reflect and concentrate. For, by seeing one’s self, and by reflecting and concentrating on one’s self, one gains knowledge of this whole world.”
-Brhadaranyaka Upanishad

“Happiness lies inside, and to attain it, we need to turn within... Meditate on your Self, honor your Self, worship your Self, for God dwells within you as you.”
-Swami Muktananda, Kundalini

“The one God hidden in all beings, pervading the universe, the inner self of all beings, the overseer of the work, dwelling in all beings, the witness, the spectator, alone, devoid of qualities, the one controller of the many who are inactive, who makes the single seed manifold –the wise who perceive him abiding within themselves (atman), they alone, not others, enjoy eternal happiness.”
–Svetasvatara Upanishad, 6.11

“I went to look for God, but didn’t find God. I myself became God. In this very body, God revealed Himself to me.”
-Tukaram Maharaj, Kundalini

“God does not ask anything else of you except that you let yourself go and let God be God in you.”
-Meister Eckhart

“When you see yourselves in water or in mirror, so see Me in your selves.”
-Agrapha

“What good is it to me for the creator to give birth to his son if I do not also give birth to him in my time and culture? This then, is the fullness of time: When the Son of God is begotten in us.”
-Meister Eckhart

“Concentrate on the heart; know every mind… Sensation is the result of the identification of self with intellect; they radically differ from each other; concentrate on the real Self; know that Self... You know the Self through Self only. Who can know the knower, how can he know the knower, except through himself?”
-Patanjali’s Yogasutras, translated by Shri Poruhit Swami

“Ye need not that any man teach you.”
-Spalding

“The further out one goes, the lesser one’s knowledge becomes. Therefore, the Man of Calling does not need to go and yet he knows everything.”
-Tao-te Ching translated by Richard Wilheim

“Whosoever practices learning increases daily. Whosoever practices dao decreases daily. He decreases and decreases until at last he arrives at non-action. In non-action nothing remains undone.”
-Tao-te Ching, Wilheim

“Seek not the law in your scriptures, for the law is life, whereas the scripture is dead. I tell you truly, Moses received not his laws from God in writing, but through the living word... God not write the laws in pages and books, but in your heart and in your spirit. They are in your breath, your blood, your bone... in every little part of your body. They are present in the air, in the water, in the earth...”
-Jesus, in the Essence Gospel of Peace

“Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alteration of night and day, and in the ship that runneth in the sea with that which profits man, and in what waters God sends down from heaven quickens therewith the earth after its death, and spreads abroad therein all kinds of cattle, and in the shifting of the winds, and in the clouds that are pressed into service betwixt heaven and earth, are signs to people who understand.”
-Qu’ran, tran.

“ ‘Tell us who You are so that we may believe in You.’ ‘You read the face and the sky of the earth, but you have not recognized the one who is before you, and you do not know how to read this moment.’ ”
-Jesus, Gospel of Thomas

“The Way lies at hand yet it is sought afar off; the thing lies in the easy yet it is sought in the difficult.” -Mencius

“Self-realization is God-realization.”
-Emmanuel’s Book by Pat Rodegast

-Jacob Behmen
